About the Event

Facilitating dialogue can be tough in general. What about with our loved ones? On the topic of race? Much of the #blacklivesmatter movement is due to allies not having nearly enough uncomfortable conversations with those closest to them on divisive topics. We've seen what happens when we ignore a systemic problem: black folks' lives are at stake. Lean into this global transition and learn how to have a deeper, emotionally rooted conversation with those we disagree with. The time for change is now.

This event will be facilitated by The Faith Space CEO, Katherine Newell, a trained trauma chaplain, interspiritual minister, and activist specializing in conflict transformation.
